nearly 200,000 suvs from the 2006, 07 models are recalled for a fire risks. you can see the list includes trail blazer, envoy. gm says water gets into the driver's side door and shorts a circuit board that can cause fire.

owners should park the vehicles outside until repaired. gm will make repairs for free. some concern this evening over news that the contractor for new bay bridge will get a $20 million bonus if the bridge is completed on time. lawmakers acknowledge that bonuses are included in building contracts to prompt completion but safety should be the primary concern, not on time performance. lawmakers are sending a letter outlining concerns. they might have recent problems with materials. cal tran says it will decide around july 10 whether the new span will open on labor day weekend. the lights project was recently discovered hundreds of lights ever malfunctioning and technicians know why. moisture is getting into the lights. the manufacturer of the lights has agreed to foot the bill to replace some of the them. in the meantime they'll reprogram the display to work around the broken lights. >> he reimagined the artwork

san mateo county held its  first ever lgbt pride today. it was held on east fifth street. it included live music, panel discussions, entertainment, and you could be tested for hiv. hundreds of kids got treated by playing football with the pros.

patrick willis led the two day camp for more than 300 children, children of active duty military personnel. >> i'm thankful for everybody to make this possible. it warms my heart to see kids running. they may not understand this now but they will when they get older. >> willis and more than 30 of the area's top coaches taught the kids the fundamentals of football and taught that quarterback and his offensive line how to do a heck of a job. another camp also taking place this weekend, this one for children of down's syndrome. the two day event called football camp of the stars is founded by steve mariucci. it's owned by current and former 49ers players and coaches. the nfl refry that worked this year's super bowl called that game. a birthday celebration for a

san jose boy fighting leukemia. he celebrated his birthday with the mario brother's birthday party. he has undergone chem oh, treatments and is still in search of a bone marrow donor. today it was about having fun with friends and family. >> it's a grass roots sort of campaign of love i guess you could say. everyone from all over, either they've known him or not known him for a long period of time. we've come together for this little boy. >> the family was supposed to leave for saint jude's children's hospital tomorrow but he has a temperature and can't travel. the family is trying to raise money to cover medical and other expenses. you can donate at wells far go bank. let's step outside and take a live look at the golden gate bridge, significant for many reasons, the famous bridge of course but tomorrow the marathon

today. san jose down to 72. big time cooldown. right now 59 degrees in oakland. san jose you actually need a jacket outside in silicon valley for your plans this evening. hanging around 70s in fairfield but look at south into 17 to napa. it's going to pull in those clouds. notice the temperature change. 10 to 20 degrees cooler than this time yesterday. we were close to 90 in spots friday. not the case today or tomorrow. you can see the low clouds on the coast. this will continue to be part of the story on the coast. also into the morning hours including liver moore, danville. fog for the morning. lunch time nothing but sunshine inland but cool around the coast in san francisco. nice running temperatures there around the city. the fog will start to creep back

in as we head towards the evening. overnight tonight areas of low clouds moving inland if you have plans around san francisco or the coast you're going to find mist and drizzle for your evening plans and probably for the morning, too. if you have an early brunch time with dad along the coast, those low clouds and fog will not only keep temperatures down but drop mist at times for the morning. after 10:00 in the morning mid to upper 70s. 80s inland. around the try valley mild temperatures and warmer temperatures toward napa, fairfield and liver more. san francisco low 60s tomorrow and perhaps closer to 70 in oakland. monday into tuesday highs low 70s inland. liver moore and pleasanton looking cool.
